ANNA BIELSKA - WETWARE

grote_kerk

Wetware is a speculative design for interfaces that are sensitive, wet, and leave a mark on the user. An interface is where two systems influence each other, or a device that allows a user to interact with a machine, this one, however, is wet. It’s a set of sensory organs, not flat like touchscreens. Its jelly-like, responsive flesh reacts to your touch with sonic feedback, creating an intimate and immersive dialogue between human and machine.

This work was selected as part of Youngbloods, GOGBOT’s platform highlighting promising recent graduates. Anna Bielska, recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (Interactive/Media/Design), presented Wetware in her graduate exhibition. Her work explores the boundaries between physical sensation and digital interaction, creating designs that are experiential, tactile, and conceptually rich, positioning the user at the intersection of empathy, curiosity, and technology.
