CCC CLOTHING - BIAS OF REFLECTION
Based on the concept of existential isolation, this installation explores the subjectivity of perception and the gaps between individual realities. Visitors are invited to approach a mirror and reflect on the divide between the self they present and the self others perceive, then step outside their own reality to witness a familiar experience from a new perspective. What began as CCC Clothing’s exploration of persona and clothing evolved into a deeper narrative about identity, perception, and separation, developed through mind maps, experiments, and ideation. The collective consists of Babette Jacobs, Debanshi Mukherjee, Julia Griffin, Linn Pruchnow, Marije van den Hurk, and Stan Fruijtier.
This project is part of the ongoing collaboration between CreaTe (Creative Technology) at University of Twente and GOGBOT, where students transform research and experimentation into public installations that challenge the way we live with technology.
